History: Alex was the oldest of four, born into a cop family. He grew up spoiled by both his parents. They gave him anything and everything he wanted, but when Alara was born things--changed. His parents started showering her with love and the amount of attention Alex got dropped in half. Alex got rebellious. Alex got some attention alright, from his father's belt. Things got better after that. He was his parents' only son she was their parents' only daughter. Then the twins were born. Alan and Alana shattered Alex and Alara's perfect little worlds. For the remainder of their childhood, Alex and Alara came only as an afterthought to their parents. It was always, "The twins did this," or, "The twins are so cute!" It was sickening, but then puberty hit the two elder siblings. As if retribution for the past seven years, Alex and Alara were gifted with mutant abilities. She received the gift of precognition while he gained the power to cast illusions. They used these abilities to torment the twins to no end. High school was a breeze for Alex. He was class president, and captain of the JV baseball team, and a straight A student. He graduated top of his class and went on to Harvard Law School. He got his masters in Criminal Law, minoring in Psychology. He met his future wife at Harvard but they lost touch after graduation. He then decided to enter the field of law enforcement like practically every other member of his family before him and applied to the FBI. He blew the other applicants away on the written tests and passed the physical exam with flying colors. He was an amazing student at the FBI academy and all of his continued success quickly brought him to the attention of the higher ups. This wasn't entirely unfounded though since he did use his powers whenever possible to give him an advantage. He met Angela again at the Academy and they got engaged. They were coincidentally assigned to the FBI headquarters in his hometown where they made a nice little, status quo life for themselves in the suburbs. Alberta and Alex were born one year apart soon afterwards, but the honeymoon was ending. Alex was dedicated to work and despite his his ability to excell at whatever he did he sucked at being a husband and a father. He was just too self-absorbed. Just a couple weeks before Alex's fifth birthday she took the kids and left. The sad thing is he had forgot the birthday was even approaching and the really sad thing is that it took him a couple hours to realize they were gone. Angela and he talked things out and parted as friends. It was now, in the wake of his crumbling private life, that his "bosses" decided to approach him with a new assignment. He'd never tried to hide his powers but it wasn't exactly something that came up in normal conversation either. When he was approached with joining the mutant team X-Factor it came as no shock. The pay raise did it for him though and he signed on once again using his powers to his advantage. He was killed helping the team get the young mutants of Squadron M out of government custody.
